Platelet rich plasma versus corticosteroid injections in treatment of knee osteoarthritis.

The aim of this study  to compare the effect and  functional outcome  of  platelets rich plasma  and corticosteroid  injection with  knee osteoarthritis

Patients and methods

 In this study thers is a sixty randomized patients  that included with mild to moderate knee osteoarthris  .Patients  treated  with  PRP or corticosteroid injection,  the assessement of patients follow up period  by visual analog scale, and Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score from six  months  to one year follow up after treatment.

Written  informed consent was taken from every patient that included in this study .
