A comparative analysis of sports levels in the selected swimming competitions of the paralympic games in the years 1992 – 2008

The paper attempts to assess the level of disabled sailing sports in the years 1992-2008. We analyzed time winners, medal winners and finalists consecutive Paralympic Games, from competitions played in Barcelona. Identified differences in performance at distances of 50 and 400 m freestyle in classes S12, S10 and S7, both women and men. The paper also compared trends in disabled swimming against able-bodied swimmers.
