The case of a 26 year-old student with chronic inflammatory and painfull wrist area soft tissue oedema symptoms, did not responding to treatment. Diagnostic imaging had been performed. RTG examination didn’t reveal bones pathology. During ultrasonography some irregular structures within muscle tissues had been seen. For the accurate soft tissue, range and kind of the pathology estimation, patient has gone under MR examination. The images were suspicious for neoplasmatic process. In the histopathology probe Epithelioid sarcoma had been diagnosed. The authors conclude, that the MR examination may significantly contribute to diagnostic process in patients with unspecific soft tissue symptoms and low treatment respond.
