Management of ankle joint sprains

Despite the fact that ankle sprain is the most common orthopaedic trauma there are discrepancies and randomness in its treatment. Therefore lots of initially trivial trauma leads to chronic disability and degenerative changes of the joint. In our paper we presents rules of ankle sprains diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation according to literature. We describe algorithm of procedures binding in our center according to diagnostics results. Consequences of complications in treatment are also discussed.
