This article is intended as an approximation of the issue of nimesulide safety profile in patients suffering from motor organ injuries. On the strength of the data available on the heretofore conducted clinical trials nimesulide may be said to be a medicine of the NSAID group with a relatively low risk of undesirable effects incidence. However, in view of the obscure conclusions of the heretofore published papers, hepatotoxicity should be taken into consideration upon the selection of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug.
