The study attends to a case of a posttraumatic subdural haemorrhage into the spinal channel at the level of C1/C2 segment. The haemorrhage was due to a road traffic accident a 9-year-old boy had experienced. We have discussed both the symptoms observable immediately following the incident and the further process of the administration of emergency means to the patient as well as the treatment thereof. Clinical symptoms after injury and later menagement were described. Drawing on the available publications on this uncommon type of trauma, the main principles of managing such injuries have been specified.
