The aim of the study was evaluation of the physical rehabilitation in patients a after total endoprosthesis plasty of the knee joint. Two comparative groups were made at a random of 39 patients after endoprosthesis plasty of the knee. Group A (late physical therapy) was consisted of 21 patients, which period from surgical operation to the beginning of the rehabilitation was 8.3 month. Group B (far physical therapy) was consisted of 18 patients, which period from surgical operation to the beginning of the rehabilitation was 5.4 years. The therapy in both groups lasted 4 weeks. For the rehabilitation process evaluation, the condition of patients was goniometry and pendulum test were preformed at admission and at termination of rehabilitation. A modification of the Lysholm Scale and a subjective knee questionnaire (VAS) were also used. Based on obtained results observed, that most significant changes in measured parameters were in group A, and final results of rehabilitation in group B are comparative with results from group A.
