Valuation of development in surgical treatment of spondylolisthesis

Literature review and analysis of treatment methods and results of surgical treatment high-grade spondylolisthesis was conducted. Mentioned methods are applied in surgical practice in cooperating clinical centers. Methods with and without additional supportive devices – implants, were distinguished. In the study surgical methods were compared. The necessary stages of spondylolisthesis surgical treatment, which guaranteed its quality, effectiveness and reliability, were proposed. “State of the art” was defined. Elaboration of new surgical spondylolisthesis treatment technology, eliminating disadvantages of today’s methods, especially reposition based on extractive screw system, and increasing safety and treatment effectiveness is essential.
